Why Nonprofit

Why Nonprofit?

When we began in 2017, we had a simple goal - to create a space for friends and families to come and celebrate life’s events, big and small.

An extension of the home.

We quickly grew out of our first venue and expanded to our current home in Argyle. We have hosted and fed folks and loved every second, but we quickly realized a gap. We kept saying “everyone has a seat at our table,” and truly wanted that to be a reality.

So we began dreaming and praying, and God opened the doors for us to start a 501(c)(3) organization.

We are so excited to host events for everyone. We want to sit at the table and do life with our community.

We truly want everyone to have a seat at our table.

Mission.

We exist to bridge the gap between being broken and being restored through tangible resources for healing and life skills.

Vision.

Restoration happens through building relationships, teaching life skills, and feeding our guests both physically and spiritually. Through classes, discussions, and dinners we hope to empower and equip the people we are serving with both practical takeaways and discipleship.

COOKING AND LIFE SKILLS CLASSES

Whether it be a class on cooking or gardening, or a conversation around cultural topics of today’s world, we have the tables (and the kitchen) for that to happen.

The table is the great equalizer, and ours are here for you!

events for your nonprofit

We are here to partner with nonprofits that share in our mission and vision, to provide a space for you. Fundraisers, banquets, or a place to bring the people you work with.

We want to cover the back end work so you can focus on the needs and goals of your nonprofit.
